Today our Orlando/Winter Park Branch has over 180 members, representing various colleges and universities throughout the country and from four continents.  Our branch offers women the opportunity to meet other professional women at our regular breakfast meetings, social gatherings, and numerous interest groups.  Monthly meetings feature speakers discussing current events and women’s issues.  In addition, the interest groups include book clubs, Mah Jongg, walking, exploring Central Florida, dining-in, lunching out, dining out, theater, museums, foreign films, foreign affairs, and current issues.

ELIGIBILITY

AAUW Membership is open to all college or university graduates (women or men) with a Baccalaureate or higher degree.  You can join AAUW if you have a degree from a two-year institution or the equivalent (for example an RN degree).  Affiliate memberships are available for college-level students.

You can also join as a dual member if you belong to another branch.

In principle and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership.  There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or class.
